Two weeks since my last post; I'm on fire! I don't doubt the fact that no one reads this pile of filth known as Mike's Live Journal. What interesting and super cool shit do I have to say? (LONG PAUSE) You're right- NOTHING! Here's a brief recap of what's been happening in my life:

I started work at my dad's company.

I'm 3,000 miles over due for an oil change.

I'm currently in the works of getting my own place.

My dad is building a restaurant in Triangle Square (where the 55 ends).

Every night I've been wishing that random women will ask me to make out with them.

I guess that's about it. Nothing too exciting has been going on lately. My comrade Mark has been gracious enough to allow me to use his computer these past few nights. I'm sure that he'll be asking for compensation, such as a blow job.

My dad is very ambitious.

I emailed Dane Cook yesterday to see if he could get me into his show at the Ontario Mills Improv on October 14th, and later I received a response from his personal assistant saying that there is nothing that he can do. You would think that there would be something that the guy could do. I mean, IT'S HIS SHOW. That kind of made me angry, but not much. There's a whole story behind it and everything, so don't think that I was just trying to get in for free. If you want to read my email then click here.

Hey Dane,
I noticed that you're going to be playing at the Ontario Mills Improv next month- this equals bodacious. Well, just recently my sister died in a boating accident on the Colorado river [link] and as we were packing up her apartment we stumbled across a couple VIP Passes for the Improv, but the only problem is that you can't use them on sold out or headliner shows. So what I'm hoping that you can do is tell them to let me use them for your October 14th performance. If there's nothing that you can do it's totally understandable, but you seem like an extremely down to earth guy and might see where I'm coming from: how I don't want these to go to waste and what better event to use them at than my sister's favorite comic. Hopefully you can get back to me.
Thanks for all the laughs!
-Mike Knight

For those of you that don't know about Firefox, I recommend using it as your default web browser; it's very powerful, safe, and customizable. Firefox is much like Internet Explorer, but so much better. I at least encourage people to try it out and if they don't like it they don't have to use it. If anything, just check out the site.

I've noticed that most people just use their journals to either complain or write stuff that no one else would know what the fuck they're talking about. Sometimes you'll get the occasional "good post" in every once in a while, but I think that everyone nowadays are just lazy.

I went to my sister's funeral on Monday and it was amazingly beautiful. So many people showed up, it made me happy. The minister did a phenomenal job speaking. We let 200 doves go after the burial- they're very tame animals. The reception afterward was pretty cool; I wish that more people would have came and got drunk. My good friends Brandon and James came to both the funeral and reception which meant a lot to me. I wish that a couple of other people could have made it, but scheduling conflicts arose. Let me just say two words- Hotel Room.

After the reception Brandon, James and I went back to my hotel room and completely destroyed the place. We tore apart the beds and put them on opposite ends of the room to jump from one to the other. You take for granted the little things that bring you pleasure. James and I had the brilliant idea to throw huge "spit wads" out the window onto the floor below; I tried to peg some mexican guy passed out on a lawn chair. Anything that could have possibly been done in that room, we did.

It makes me so happy that I cry when my friends show me how much they care.

P.S. Thanks Annette for the early morning "I love you" message. The feeling is mutual.

OH MY GOD!!! I just found this old short story that I wrote. It cracked me up when I read it just now. I hope that you at least semi-enjoy it.

While gathering sticks and branches to start the fire that would ultimately destroy Gary the Singing Salmon, I noticed that the branch labeled, ")-(?" was starting to morph into some sort of canned food. I had to drop everything I was doing and focus entirely on this 8th Wonder of the World. To my surprise, it not only transformed itself into a can of excellent tasting New England clam chowder, but it transformed the grass on the Southside of Whvelib Hill into a garden of angered wasp's nests. This was not a good thing for the Gtkeugla Tribe that inhabited that area. But as for the New England clam chowder; I constructed a boat for it so that it may live in it... On the shore... Next to Steve...

So I gathered up the sticks and branches from earlier so that I could follow through with the original plan. You remember; the one where I would burn Gary alive in that stupid salmon costume that washed ashore 2 days earlier. But I was gathering these sticks and branches when the one labeled, "Quaadif/4 toop" gave me a peculiar look and stuck me with its pointy/sharp end, resulting not only in its own suicide, but in the suicide of all of its fellow sticks and branches. This didn't just leave me with an armful of dead, lifeless corpses, but with also the nasty prick at the base of my palm.

My injuries healed. But I can't speak for everyone else. The wasps migrated to the far end of the island wiping out everything in their path; not to mention the entire Gtkeugla Tribe. They will be missed, but Gary will not. I will find a way to end his reign of torment on us. Perhaps tomorrow I will find a way...

-Jon

So I'm reading last month's Maxim the other day (#80-August 2004: Anna Kournikova) and I came across an article on The Hives (Pg.76: The Swedish Thing). I'll admit, the article wasn't the greatest, but when I looked at the picture of the band, I fell in love with Howlin' Pelle Almqvist's hair. I don't know if I'm just retarded, but I think that the hair style is extremely cool. So now I've been seriously thinking about changing my hair to be like his.
So today I spent way too much money. I bought a DVD, CD, and three books. I think that the damage was like $80 or so. Oh well, I'm happy about the books at least.

If any of you want to waste some time, check out Habbo Hotel. My friend Mark and I went on it today and had this memorable conversation:
Guy: "you kids"
Me: "lol, kids?"
Mark: "what do you mean by kids?"
Guy: "you guys are stupid 9 year olds"
Mark: "well how old are you?"
Guy: "...37"
Mark: "and you're sitting at your computer?"
Me: "yeah, shouldn't you be at work? or having sex with your wife?"
Guy: ":/"

I thought that it was a little funny.

This is a little late, but on Sunday I saw Incubus and it was thoroughly amazing. Seeing a band play live (if they're good) gives you a newfound respect for them. I didn’t take a camera or anything because I’m slightly retarded and have mild A.D.D.

I found out my actual I.Q. and it’s better than I thought it would be. After taking these shitingly simple online I.Q. tests I buckled down and took a written I.Q. test that they administer through school districts. It was really long and I regret taking it just because of how boring it was, but I’m semi-glad that I took it.

I plan on buying a ferret.

So Sunday I'll be seeing Incubus at COX Arena in San Diego. Pretty excited about that. I've had the tickets for like five months now and haven't had anyone to go with until just a couple of days ago. I've had people say that they would go, then cancel, then say that they could again, then cancel. So I decided to finally ask someone who wouldn't flake on me- Mr. Mark Barrios.

Everyone thinks that they're so right about everything, but no one is. I'm sick of people in general; I'm going on a hiatus.

I hate writing subject titles; they're useless to me.

As of late I have been a compulsive klepto. Today alone I found myself with two new pairs of shoes and just a couple nights ago a bottle of Belvedere and Jägermeister dropped into my possession. It's getting pretty bad, but oh well, you only live once.

I'll be moving into a new house located in Irvine in a month or so. You can check out the floor-plan and stuff here. Right now it will be me and two other guys living there. The master bedroom will be my room.

I like random phone calls.

I haven't posted a new entry in quite some time. Actually, I haven't even been on LiveJournal for almost a month. Sorry if anyone enjoyed reading anything that I've had to say.

Wednesday is the only day that I'll actually be looking forward to; I haven't looked forward to doing something in a long time. Wednesday I will be going to Knott's mother fucking Berry Farm with Annette mother fucking Chavez! I'm not 100% sure who all is going, but I'm fairly certain that Ronald (Randy) Howard and Beckster Spirnaski will be going for sure. Oh joy!

I've been buying too many things. This week alone I've bought two new shirts, a lock box, some foam, shit to fix my xbox, and food/gas. Not to mention that I'm sporting a Rolex.

Mark Barrios is the man. He said that I could stay at his flat while his mom and sis are away in Greece for five weeks. Thanks Mark!

Dan Cheung is going to have a house built in Irvine and he needs people to move in. I'm thinking about it because, well, it's a fucking house and Dan's fucking chill. The only things that might hold me back are his roommates (me not knowing them) and the money factor (me not having it).

I wish more people would comment on my posts.
